9.00 USD per day.
Driving into Manhattan south of 60th Street is tolled. With a valid E-ZPass a car pays $9.00 in the peak period and $2.25 overnight, and only once a day however many times you enter. Without E-ZPass the bill goes to the registered keeper by mail and costs half as much again: $13.50 peak, $3.30 overnight — which is the rate a hire car usually attracts.
