In force in Agia right nowTuesday, 13 October 2026 at 12:05 · Europe/Athens

  • In force Every vehicle on the section of οδός 1ης Σεπτεμβρίου in the Κοινότητα Αγιάς that lies between οδός 25ης Μαρτίου and οδός 10ης Φεβρουαρίου. 🚫 The two cross streets that name the ends are not themselves regulated by this act, and neither is the rest of 1is Septemvriou beyond them. The act names no exempt vehicle of any kind: unlike the Ρ-55 schemes elsewhere in this corpus it prints no sign code, so it borrows no exception list from the Highway Code either, and unlike the seasonal Aegean acts it lists no emergency, cleaning or supply vehicles. That absence is described in `how_to_comply` rather than guessed at.

The empty window list is the act's own shape and not a missing fact. The act pedestrianises the block «μόνιμη» — permanently — and prints no season, no weekday and no hour anywhere, so a verdict of "in force" is correct at every hour of every day. 🚫 It must not be read as a timetable this project failed to find.

🚨 This timetable cannot tell you whether the rule has started. The act's only commencement clause ties its measures to «την τοποθέτηση των οικείων πινακίδων σήμανσης» — the placing of the relevant signs — and there is no publication-date clause anywhere in it. `effective_from` is null for that stated reason and not for want of looking; the issue was searched for every occurrence of «ισχύ» in this cycle. The gazette went out on 27 October 2025 and nothing this project holds says what is on the ground today.

⚠️ The commencement clause says «τα λοιπά μέτρα», the remaining measures, and this act contains only one measure. That is a residual phrase from the publisher's standard condition list rather than a distinction this act draws, and it is printed here rather than repaired. Either reading of it leaves the act without a gazetted commencement date.

🚨 The act names no sign and no exempt vehicle. Where a Ρ-55 scheme borrows the Highway Code's own exceptions — emergency vehicles, and vehicles going in and out of frontage properties — this one orders «οι οικείες πινακίδες σήμανσης» as a category and stops there. Whether access for a resident's garage on the block is admitted is not something this page can answer from the gazette, and it is not encoded as an exception because the act does not grant one.

⚠️ One block is not the town. This act regulates the section of 1is Septemvriou between 25is Martiou and 10is Fevrouariou and nothing else in Agia. 🚫 The absence of any other street from this record is not permission to drive it: Agia's older lanes may carry signs this project has not read, and the municipality's own site could not be opened on 2026-09-24.

Public holidays are not encoded, because the act does not mention them. It exempts no day and no date.

The scheme can be varied by the same route that made it: the act is an approval of council decision 62/2025, which was taken «κατά πλειοψηφία» — by majority, not unanimously — and the eighth condition binds the municipality to what that decision approved. A later council decision approved the same way would change this page, and the gazette is where it would appear.

Operating times only, read from the source below. It does not check your vehicle.

What applies

Agia is a small hill town in Thessaly, inland from the Aegean beaches of Agiokampos and Velika and about 40 km east of Larisa, and on 27 October 2025 the Αποκεντρωμένη Διοίκηση Θεσσαλίας - Στερεάς Ελλάδας gazetted a decision that closes one block of one of its streets to traffic for good. 🔑 The operative clause is a single sentence and this record is the whole of it: «Την έγκριση των κυκλοφοριακών ρυθμίσεων της υπ’ αρ.

62/2025 απόφασης του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου του Δήμου Αγιάς … που αφορά στη μόνιμη πεζοδρόμηση του τμήματος της οδού 1ης Σεπτεμβρίου, μεταξύ των οδών 25ης Μαρτίου και 10ης Φεβρουαρίου» — the permanent pedestrianisation of the section of 1is Septemvriou street between 25is Martiou street and 10is Fevrouariou street, in the Κοινότητα Αγιάς.

Three streets named after Greek national dates, and the two that are not closed are the two that mark the ends of the one that is. 🔑 This is the smallest scheme in this corpus's Greek set and the page says so rather than dressing it up: one block, no season, no clock, no charge, no permit and no emission criterion.

It is also permanent — «μόνιμη» is the act's own word, and it is what separates this from the summer pedestrianisations of Mytilene, Sifnos and Thira. 🚨 Two things about it are genuinely open, and both are the publisher's doing rather than a gap in the search. First, the act gives no commencement date at all.

Its only clause on the point is the third condition — «Τα λοιπά μέτρα που λαμβάνονται με την παρούσα απόφαση να ισχύουν από την τοποθέτηση των οικείων πινακίδων σήμανσης» — the measures apply from the placing of the relevant signs, and there is no «ισχύς … από τη δημοσίευσή της» sentence anywhere in the act.

So `effective_from` is null because the gazette declines to give a date, which is the second act in this corpus to behave that way after Nafplio. Second, the act names no sign.

It orders «οι οικείες πινακίδες σήμανσης» as a category and prints no code — no Ρ-55, no plate of any kind — so what a driver meets at the mouth of the block is whatever the municipality put there. ⚠️ And the act is nearly a year old at the time of writing: council decision 62/2025 was taken by majority rather than unanimously, the gazette went out on 27 October 2025, and nothing this project holds says whether the signs have since gone up.

The street decides, not this page.

Εθνικό Τυπογραφείο (National Printing House) — Εφημερίδα της Κυβερνήσεως, ΦΕΚ Β' 5659/27.10.2025, Αριθμ. 50328 of the Αποκεντρωμένη Διοίκηση Θεσσαλίας - Στερεάς Ελλάδας, approving decision 62/2025 of the Δημοτικό Συμβούλιο Αγιάς under article 55 of ν. 5209/2025 read with article 112 §16 and article 111

Daily charge

Nothing is charged and there is nothing to buy. The act approves a pedestrianisation under article 55 of the Highway Code — the power to impose «περιορισμών ή απαγορεύσεων κυκλοφορίας» — and it creates no permit, no resident card, no day ticket and no tariff.

No sum of money appears anywhere in its operative sentence or in its eight conditions; the only financial statement in it is «Το γεγονός ότι με την απόφαση αυτή δεν προκαλείται δαπάνη σε βάρος του κρατικού προϋπολογισμού», which is about the state budget and not about a charge on drivers. ⚠️ One document behind the act has not been read, and this record says so rather than claiming the scheme is free of conditions.

The rule was drawn up as study 33/2025 of 14 April 2025 by the Τμήμα Τεχνικών Υπηρεσιών of the Δήμος Αγιάς, and the eighth condition — «Να τηρούνται απαρέγκλιτα τα όσα εγκρίθηκαν με την υπ’ αρ. 62/2025 απόφαση του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου του Δήμου Αγιάς» — makes the council's own decision binding in its own terms.

Neither the study nor decision 62/2025 is published with the gazette issue. 🚫 They could not be looked for on the municipality's site either: dimosagias.gr and www.dimosagias.gr both answer HTTP 403 with a Cloudflare interstitial titled «Just a moment...», on the home page and on robots.txt alike, measured on 2026-09-24. That is bot protection and this project does not work around bot protection.

Διαύγεια, where decision 62/2025 sits under ΑΔΑ 6313Ω6Ι-0ΜΤ, is closed by its own robots.txt and we respect it. So this is an unread document rather than a document known to contain no charge.

When it operates

There are no hours, and that is what «μόνιμη» means here rather than a fact this project failed to find. The act pedestrianises the block permanently: it attaches no season, no weekday, no clock and no additional plate, and it makes no provision for supply traffic between named hours as the seasonal Aegean schemes in this corpus do.

A driver arriving at 04:00 in February meets the same rule as one arriving at 20:00 in August. 🚨 What the act does not say is when it began, and the silence is deliberate rather than accidental.

The issue was searched in this cycle for every occurrence of «ισχύ» and the only commencement clause in the whole act is the third of its eight conditions: «Τα λοιπά μέτρα που λαμβάνονται με την παρούσα απόφαση να ισχύουν από την τοποθέτηση των οικείων πινακίδων σήμανσης, εκτός αν κατά το χρόνο ισχύος των μέτρων αυτών η κυκλοφορία ρυθμίζεται από στελέχη της αρμόδιας Αστυνομικής Αρχής» — the measures apply from the placing of the relevant signs, unless a police officer is directing traffic at the time.

There is no «Η ισχύς της παρούσας αρχίζει από τη δημοσίευσή της» sentence, which the same publisher does print on other acts in the same issue.

So `effective_from` is null for a stated reason. 🔑 One word in that clause deserves reading twice, and this record prints it rather than smoothing it over: «τα λοιπά μέτρα» means «the remaining measures», a residual phrase from the publisher's standard condition list — but this act contains exactly one measure, the pedestrianisation, so there is nothing for the word «remaining» to exclude it from.

Either it covers the pedestrianisation, in which case the rule starts when the signs go up, or it covers nothing in this act, in which case the act fixes no commencement at all. Both readings end in the same place: there is no gazetted day on which this began, and the sign on the street is the thing that decides. ⚠️ Nearly a year has passed since publication and this project cannot tell you whether the signs are up.

That is watched on the gazette issue, which is the only document about this scheme that can be read at all.

Area covered

One block of one street, and the act locates it by its two ends rather than by any measurement. In the act's own words the approval covers «τη μόνιμη πεζοδρόμηση του τμήματος της οδού 1ης Σεπτεμβρίου, μεταξύ των οδών 25ης Μαρτίου και 10ης Φεβρουαρίου» — the section of 1is Septemvriou street between 25is Martiou street and 10is Fevrouariou street — in the Κοινότητα Αγιάς of the Δήμος Αγιάς, Π.Ε.

Λάρισας. 🔑 The three street names are Greek national dates: 1 September, 25 March and 10 February. That is a coincidence of local naming and not a schedule; nothing in the act attaches a date to the rule, and a reader who saw "1is Septemvriou" and expected a season would be reading a street sign as a calendar. 🚫 There is no geometry and there is no map.

The gazette issue is eight pages and entirely textual — scripts/read-source.mjs extracts 21 538 characters from the 672 889-byte file across seven content streams — and it carries no drawing, no coordinate table and no ΕΓΣΑ 87 pair of any kind.

What was drawn is study 33/2025 of 14 April 2025 by the municipality's technical service, which the act cites as its seventeenth recital and does not reproduce. ⚠️ The extent of the block therefore cannot be stated in metres, and this record does not estimate it: it prints the two cross streets the act names and leaves the rest to the street itself. 🔑 What can be said about position is that the anchor and the act agree on which Agia this is.

There are five places called Agia in Greece in the geocoder's index, and the act settles it administratively rather than by coordinate: it is signed by the Αποκεντρωμένη Διοίκηση Θεσσαλίας - Στερεάς Ελλάδας at Larisa and approves the council of the Δήμος Αγιάς, and an Overpass containment check on the anchor point returns exactly those two — Δήμος Αγιάς at level 7 and Αποκεντρωμένη Διοίκηση Θεσσαλίας - Στερεάς Ελλάδος at level 4 — together with Περιφέρεια Θεσσαλίας and Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Λάρισας.

The city registry records that check in full.

Εθνικό Τυπογραφείο — Εφημερίδα της Κυβερνήσεως, ΦΕΚ Β' 5659/27.10.2025, Αριθμ. 50328, the operative sentence and the seventeenth recital naming study 33/2025

Why there is no map here
Nothing map-like was published at all, and that is a different finding from the Kozani and Nafplio records in this corpus, where a drawing exists in the issue as a picture. 🔑 ΦΕΚ Β' 5659/27.10.2025 is eight pages and entirely textual: scripts/read-source.mjs extracts 21 538 characters from the 672 889-byte file across seven content streams, and every page of it is running text. There is no signing diagram, no sketch, no coordinate table and no ΕΓΣΑ 87 pair anywhere in the issue. The act locates its one regulated block by naming the two cross streets at its ends and by nothing else. ⚠️ This cycle measured that the silence is the publisher's and not the reader's: scripts/pdf-stream-prose.py scores this file «prose 0 · unmapped 13 · noise 9 · did-not-inflate 19» while the reader returns 21 538 fully watchable characters from the same file and all twenty-four strings watched on it hold — the eighth confirmation of the D-272 shape, so the «prose 0» verdict says something about the font and nothing about the content. What was drawn is study 33/2025 of 14 April 2025 by the Τμήμα Τεχνικών Υπηρεσιών of the Δήμος Αγιάς, cited as the seventeenth recital and not reproduced. ✅ It heals if the Δήμος Αγιάς publishes that study as geometry. ⚠️ That question could not be asked in this cycle: dimosagias.gr and www.dimosagias.gr both answer HTTP 403 with a Cloudflare interstitial titled «Just a moment...», on the home page and on robots.txt alike, measured on 2026-09-24, and this project does not work around bot protection. Petrol standard

This scheme sets no emission threshold, and the absence is structural rather than unrecorded. A pedestrianisation asks whether a vehicle may be on the street at all; it asks nothing about what leaves the exhaust. A Euro 6 hire car is barred exactly as a Euro 1 one is.

Diesel standard

The same as for petrol, and for the same structural reason: neither the act nor the council decision it approves contains an emission criterion of any kind, and nothing in either turns on fuel, age or engine.

Penalty if you do not comply
€350.00 🚨 Read this qualifier before the figure, because this is the weakest penalty chain in this corpus's Greek set and the record says so rather than hiding it. The act prints no figure. It prints no sign code either — where the Nafplio act orders Ρ-55 by name, this one orders «οι οικείες πινακίδες σήμανσης» as a category and stops. And it never once uses the noun the Highway Code prices: the word «πεζόδρομος» does not appear in it at all, only the verbal noun «πεζοδρόμηση», which was measured in this cycle across all 472 140 normalised characters of ν. 5209/2025 and occurs there ZERO times. So no tariff attaches to the act's own word, and none attaches to a plate this project has read. 🔑 What the €350 rests on is a reading, and it is stated as one: «πεζοδρόμηση» is the making of a «πεζόδρομος», and article 2 §56 of the Code defines that as «Οδός η οποία χρησιμοποιείται αποκλειστικά από τους πεζούς και για είσοδο - έξοδο οχημάτων προς και από χώρους στάθμευσης παρόδιων ιδιοκτησιών και παρόδιων χρήσεων». If the block is a πεζόδρομος, article 20 §4 reaches a driver on it: it forbids circulating «σε πλατείες, πεζόδρομους, πεζοδρόμια, νησίδες ασφαλείας … εκτός από περιπτώσεις απολύτου ανάγκης ή όταν ειδικές ρυθμίσεις το επιτρέπουν». Article 20 §8 classifies a breach of §4 «στην κατηγορία Ε3-Β και στην κατηγορία Σ». Article 108 §5 γ) γα) prices a category Ε3-Α breach at «διοικητικό πρόστιμο τριακοσίων πενήντα (350) ευρώ»; §5 γ) γβ) adds withdrawal of the driving licence and of the vehicle's registration documents for thirty (30) days; §5 δ) adds a further forty (40) days' withdrawal of the licence for the category Σ classification. Every one of those provisions was located independently in this cycle on 2026-09-24 rather than copied from this corpus's other Greek records. ⚠️ This record publishes the larger figure because a driver should plan for the worse case and because under-warning is the dangerous direction — but the honest position is that the gazette does not close the chain, and a reader who wants certainty about what an officer in Agia writes will not get it from this act. 🔑 If the municipality has in fact signed the block with Ρ-55, a second and much smaller route exists: article 7 §11 ζ) puts non-compliance with that plate in «την κατηγορία Ε1-Α και στην κατηγορία Σ», and article 108 §5 α) αα) prices Ε1-Α at «διοικητικό πρόστιμο τριάντα (30) ευρώ» — thirty euro plus the forty days the Σ classification adds. The gap between the two routes is more than a factor of ten, and which one applies depends on a sign this act does not name. ⚠️ For a visitor in a hire car, the measure against the vehicle's registration documents is a matter between the renter and the rental company that the Code does not address.

Article 2 §56 for the definition of a pedestrian street; article 20 §4 and §8 for driving on one and for the category it falls in; article 108 §5 α), γ) and δ) for the tariffs and the licence measures; articles 55, 111 and 112 §16 for the powers the act is taken under

How to comply
  • Do not drive the block of οδός 1ης Σεπτεμβρίου that lies between οδός 25ης Μαρτίου and οδός 10ης Φεβρουαρίου, in the centre of Agia. That one block is the whole of this rule, and it is permanent — «μόνιμη πεζοδρόμηση» is the act's own description of it.
  • 🔑 The two streets that name the ends are not closed. 25is Martiou and 10is Fevrouariou are how the act identifies where the pedestrianised section starts and stops; driving them is not what this act prohibits, and the rest of 1is Septemvriou beyond them is not covered either.
  • ⚠️ Do not read the street name as a season. 1is Septemvriou, 25is Martiou and 10is Fevrouariou are Greek national dates used as street names. The rule has no season and no hours at all: it applies at every hour of every day.
  • ⚠️ The rule starts when the signs go up, not on a date. The act's only commencement clause says its measures apply «από την τοποθέτηση των οικείων πινακίδων σήμανσης» and there is no publication-date clause anywhere in it. The gazette went out on 27 October 2025; what is on the post in front of you is the rule, and this page cannot tell you whether it is there yet.
  • 🚨 The act names no sign, so look at what is actually on the street. Unlike the pedestrian-street schemes elsewhere in Greece in this corpus, this one orders «οι οικείες πινακίδες σήμανσης» — the relevant signs — as a category and prints no code. If you find a Ρ-55 plate, the Highway Code's own exceptions apply to it: pedestrians, emergency vehicles, and vehicles going in and out of parking on properties fronting the street. If you find something else, that something else is what governs.
  • 🚨 The act itself grants no exemption of any kind, and that is worth knowing if you have booked a room on the block. It lists no emergency, cleaning, supply or resident vehicle, and it admits no delivery hour. Whether access to a frontage property is allowed depends on the sign and on council decision 62/2025, which is not published in the gazette and which this project has not been able to read — treat it as unread rather than as permissive.
  • ⚠️ The cost of getting it wrong is up to €350 plus licence measures, and the act gives you no way to be sure of the figure. `penalty` sets out why: the act prints no sum and no sign code, and the €350 comes from the Highway Code's treatment of a pedestrian street rather than from anything this act says. If the block is signed Ρ-55 and an officer charges the plate rather than the street, the figure is €30 plus forty days' withdrawal of the driving licence instead. This record publishes the larger one.
  • There is nothing to buy and nowhere to buy it. No permit, no resident card, no day pass and no charge appears anywhere in the act, and the only money it mentions is the statement that implementing the measure does not fall on the state budget.
  • 🚫 This is one block, not a map of pedestrian Agia. Nothing on this page says anything about any other street in the town, and a street's absence from this record is not permission to drive it. The municipality's own website answered a Cloudflare challenge on 2026-09-24 and this project does not work around one, so no wider picture could be taken.
