Belgium: 1 scheme to know about before you drive in.
Ghent has one driving restriction on our books: the Lage-emissiezone (LEZ) Gent (low emission zone). What is a low emission zone?

Ghent operates a low emission zone — it and Antwerp are the only two cities in Flanders that do. Flemish LEZs are in force seven days a week, around the clock, and a foreign-registered vehicle has to be registered before it may enter. We have NOT been able to read Ghent's own access thresholds from an official source, so this page does not state which Euro standards get in.
Check the City of Ghent's own pages before you drive.
