Ghent, Belgium · Low emission zone
In force in Ghent right nowTuesday, 13 October 2026 at 11:04 · Europe/Brussels
This is the operating time only. We have not been able to read Ghent's own emission thresholds from an official source, so this says nothing about whether your vehicle may enter.
Operating times only, read from the source below. It does not check your vehicle.
Ghent operates a low emission zone — it and Antwerp are the only two cities in Flanders that do. Flemish LEZs are in force seven days a week, around the clock, and a foreign-registered vehicle has to be registered before it may enter. We have NOT been able to read Ghent's own access thresholds from an official source, so this page does not state which Euro standards get in.
Check the City of Ghent's own pages before you drive.

Flemish LEZs do not charge a compliant vehicle. Each city may allow a non-compliant vehicle in against payment on its own terms, and Ghent's terms could not be read from an official source on 2026-09-02.
Seven days a week, 24 hours a day — the standing rule for every low emission zone in Flanders.
Vlaamse overheid (vlaanderen.be)
The boundary is published by the Stad Gent. On 2026-09-02 stad.gent could not be reached from our network at all, and lez.stad.gent serves only a client-rendered application shell with no readable text. Not restated from general knowledge.
Ghent's own access thresholds could not be read from an official source on 2026-09-02. Flanders sets general access rules and each city may vary the paid-access terms, so Antwerp's thresholds must NOT be assumed to apply here. Deliberately left unstated rather than inferred.
As for petrol: not read from an official source on 2026-09-02, and not inferred from the neighbouring city's rules.
Not stated on the Flemish overview page, and the Ghent pages could not be reached on 2026-09-02. Not estimated.
