Driving in Annemasse

France: 1 scheme to know about before you drive in.

The short answer for Annemasse

Annemasse has one driving restriction on our books: the Zone à faibles émissions mobilité (ZFE-m) d'Annemasse Agglo (low emission zone). What is a low emission zone?

What it means for your car

Petrol or LPG. Today only unclassified vehicles are banned — those too old to be given any Crit'Air sticker. The order applies that to cars (M1), light commercial vehicles (N1), heavy goods vehicles (N2 and N3) and buses and coaches (M2 and M3). Crit'Air 5 is added on 1 January 2028, Crit'Air 4 on 1 January 2029 and Crit'Air 3 on 1 January 2030, each ban adding to the ones before it.
