In force in Bagnara di Romagna right nowTuesday, 13 October 2026 at 11:04 · Europe/Rome

  • In force Monday to Friday, 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027: petrol, LPG/petrol and methane/petrol up to Euro 2; diesel up to Euro 4; mopeds and motorcycles up to Euro 2. 🔑 This is the ONLY vehicle list in the order — there is no stricter Sunday list, no ecological Sunday and no emergency list that reaches a vehicle.

Lifts Tuesday, 13 October 2026 at 18:30 local time.

🚨 There is exactly one rule in this timetable and that is the finding, not an omission. This order adopts no ecological Sunday and imposes no emergency measure that touches a vehicle, so Saturday, Sunday and air-quality alert days carry no driving ban at all. Several orders in this family have two or three rules here. No timetable may be copied from one town to another.

A Euro 5 diesel is lawful in Bagnara di Romagna on every day of the season. That is not true at Formigine, Castenaso, Maranello, Piacenza, Carpi, San Lazzaro di Savena or Ozzano dell'Emilia.

🔑 A vehicle enrolled in Move-In may drive here. That is the opposite of the answer at Bagnolo in Piano, whose order confines Move-In to its preamble (D-342).

🚨 THIS TIMETABLE DOES NOT EXCLUDE PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AS A CLASS. Baricella's point 1 writes "festivi esclusi" before naming any feast, so its timetable is narrower than its order. Bagnara di Romagna's point 1 contains no such clause: it names six days and stops. A public holiday that is not one of those six is, on the face of this order, an ordinary day.

🆕 SIX SUSPENDED DAYS AND SIX THAT BITE — THE FIRST ORDER IN THE FAMILY TO WASTE NONE. Bagnolo in Piano lists eight of which five bite; Baricella lists six of which four do; Carpi and Ozzano each attach a Saturday to a Monday-to-Friday ban and suspend nothing with it. Every one of Bagnara's six falls Monday to Friday.

🆕 ONE OF THE SIX IS A LOCAL FEAST. Monday 30 November 2026 is marked "(patrono)" in the order — the comune's own patron saint's day, where the other five are national holidays. ⚠️ THIS RECORD FIRST CALLED THAT UNIQUE IN THE CORPUS AND WAS WRONG BY THE END OF THE SAME CYCLE: Conselice, in the same union, suspends ITS patron's day on 11 November. What survives the correction is narrower and more useful — the practice recurs inside this drafting office, the date does not, and a six-day list from one town says nothing about the contents of another's.

The order also suspends the ban on days when a strike is called affecting local public transport. That cannot be put in a calendar in advance and is not modelled here; it is stated in hours and in how_to_comply.

The emergency article is real and has two limbs, and neither reaches a vehicle: when the Arpae bulletin for the Province of Ravenna calls for emergency measures, the order bans livestock-slurry spreading and the use of wood-biomass heating below the "5 stelle" class. Control days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

⚠️ THE BAN ATTACHES TO AN ENCLOSED AREA, NOT TO NAMED ROADS, so this timetable says WHEN and the area field says WHERE — and the WHERE is the opposite shape to Bagnacavallo's. A driver on an unnamed side street inside the ring IS in this zone.

Operating times only, read from the source below. It does not check your vehicle.

What applies

Bagnara di Romagna closes its historic centre to older vehicles for the winter season, Monday to Friday 08:30–18:30 from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027.

Banned: petrol, LPG/petrol and methane/petrol cars up to Euro 2; diesel cars up to Euro 4; mopeds and motorcycles up to Euro 2. 🔑 THIS IS THE FIRST ORDER IN THE EMILIA-ROMAGNA PLAIN FAMILY THAT DEFINES ITS ZONE AS AN ENCLOSED PERIMETER RATHER THAN AS A LIST OF ROADS, and the difference changes the answer a driver gets. Point 7 delimits the area by naming just TWO streets — via G.

Matteotti and viale G. Garibaldi — as the perimeter, and excludes the parking bays on them. Bagnacavallo named thirty-two roads and its map coloured the carriageways; Alfonsine named five.

Here the map draws a single closed red ring around the walled centre, so the streets INSIDE the ring are in the zone even though the order never names one of them. 🚨 AND THE MAP CARRIES NO LEGEND AT ALL — no key, no title block, no scale, no north arrow, no date and no signature.

The red line's meaning rests entirely on the ordinance's words, which is why this record watches those words rather than the drawing. 🚨 Like its three measured neighbours in the Unione dei Comuni della Bassa Romagna, the order prints NO money for driving in: it cites article 7 comma 13 bis of the Highway Code and stops. The fine on this record is null rather than a figure borrowed from a neighbouring town.

Daily charge

Nothing is charged and nothing is on sale. The order bans the listed classes from the perimeter during the window and lists who is excluded; there is no ticket, no day pass and no payment that buys entry.

When it operates

Seasonal, and the season had not begun when this was read. The ban runs from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:30. Saturday and Sunday carry no ban. 🔑 There is exactly ONE vehicle list and ONE window — no stricter Sunday list, no ecological Sunday and no emergency limb that reaches a vehicle.

Point 1 suspends the ban on six named days and on days when a local public-transport strike is called: Monday 30 November 2026 (the patron saint's day), Tuesday 8 December 2026, Friday 25 December 2026, Friday 1 January 2027, Wednesday 6 January 2027 and Monday 29 March 2027. 🆕 THE FIRST OF THOSE IS A LOCAL FEAST — the order writes it as "lunedì 30 novembre (patrono)", the comune's patron saint's day, where every other suspended day here is a national holiday. ⚠️ CORRECTED WITHIN THE CYCLE THAT WROTE IT: this record first said the day was the only locally specific suspension in the corpus.

Conselice, read hours later the same day, suspends its own patron's day on 11 November — so the PRACTICE is shared inside this union and only the DATE is distinctive. The over-claim is left visible rather than silently edited, because it is the shape a later cycle would repeat: a sample of one from a drafting office that produces near-identical documents is not evidence of uniqueness.

Area covered

The centro abitato of Bagnara di Romagna, and this order describes it as an ENCLOSED PERIMETER rather than as a set of roads — the first in this family to do so. Point 1 bans the listed vehicles in "l'area individuata dall'allegata planimetria costituente l'Allegato n. 1"; point 7 then says that area "è delimitata come segue: perimetro individuato da via G.

Matteotti e viale G. Garibaldi esclusi i parcheggi situati in dette strade". 🔑 TWO STREETS, AND THEY ARE THE BOUNDARY, NOT THE CONTENT.

The verb is "delimitata" — delimited — and the carve-out for the parking bays on those same two streets only makes sense if the streets themselves are otherwise inside. So the zone is the area enclosed by via G. Matteotti and viale G.

Garibaldi, including those two roads, minus their parking bays. 🚨 THE MAP CONFIRMS THAT READING RATHER THAN CONTRADICTING IT, AND IT WAS OPENED BEFORE THIS WAS WRITTEN (D-339): Allegato n.

1 draws a single closed red ring that runs along the carriageways of the two named streets and encircles the whole walled centre, with the Rocca and the fossa inside it. ⚠️ THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF THE ANSWER AT BAGNACAVALLO, and the two must not be merged.

Bagnacavallo's order names thirty-two roads and its map colours those carriageways yellow, so a driver on an unnamed side street inside the same block is NOT in that zone. Bagnara's order names two roads as a perimeter and its map draws a closed loop, so a driver on an unnamed side street inside the ring IS in this zone.

Same union, same drafting week, opposite geometry. 🚨 AND THE DRAWING NAMES NOTHING: there is no legend, no key, no title block, no scale bar, no north arrow, no date and no signature anywhere on the sheet. The red line is unlabelled.

Its meaning comes from point 7's words and from nowhere else, which is why those words are watched string by string and the drawing is cited without being turned into geometry.

Why there is no map here
THE BOUNDARY IS PUBLISHED, IT IS A PICTURE, AND IT IS THE LEAST ANNOTATED ONE THIS FAMILY HAS PRODUCED. Allegato n. 1 is a one-page A4 landscape PDF, 164 884 bytes, 841.92 × 595.32 pt, holding a single raster 1 083 × 803 px with no selectable text at all — PyMuPDF reports zero font objects and zero characters on the page. It was rendered at 55 dpi and looked at on 2026-10-01 before this status was chosen, on the D-339 rule that a raster has to be opened before it is judged, then re-rendered at 190 and 200 dpi over three separate clips to check the corners. 🔑 WHAT IT SHOWS, AND WHY IT MATTERS: a cadastral street plan of central Bagnara di Romagna with a SINGLE CLOSED RED LINE drawn around the walled centre, running along the carriageways of viale Giacomo Matteotti on the south side and viale Giuseppe Garibaldi on the west — the two streets point 7 names as the perimeter. The Rocca, the fossa and the whole street grid of the centre sit inside the loop. That settles the question point 7's wording leaves open: "delimitata" means the area is what the ring encloses, not the two roads on their own. Bagnacavallo's equivalent coloured thirty-two individual carriageways yellow and enclosed nothing; this one encloses and names nothing. 🚨 AND THE SHEET IS ANNOTATED WITH NOTHING WHATSOEVER. There is no legend, no key, no colour swatch, no title block, no scale bar, no north arrow, no date and no signature anywhere on it — all four corners were rendered and read. Bagnacavallo's carried a printed legend reading AREA SOGGETTA A LIMITAZIONE and a title block dated September 2021 over the signature of Ing. Luigi Cipriani; Ozzano's legend ran to several entries. This is the FOURTH distinct answer the family has given to the question of what a legend says — Carpi contradicted its own text, San Lazzaro named lines and points while drawing a surface, Ozzano was complete, and Bagnara has none at all. 🚫 No earlier answer predicted this one, and this one predicts no later one. ⚠️ It is still a raster inside a PDF, not geometry — no coordinates, no vector boundary, no projection stated. Tracing it would produce OUR line, not the publisher's, which is the D-007 error the boundary README's first rule exists to prevent. So the map is cited and linked and the record states no shape. 🔑 BECAUSE THE DRAWING LABELS NOTHING, THE PERIMETER SENTENCE AT POINT 7 IS THE ONLY PLACE THE ZONE IS DEFINED IN WORDS, and it is watched as a single needle on the ordinance. If the publisher ever redraws the ring without changing the sentence, this corpus will not hear about it — that limitation is stated here rather than hidden, and it is the reason this record's stale_after is short.

Petrol standard

Petrol cars of Euro 0, Euro 1 and Euro 2 are banned, and so are bi-fuel LPG/petrol and methane/petrol cars of the same three classes — the order writes them as two separate bullets with the same wording. Mopeds and motorcycles are banned at Euro 0, Euro 1 and Euro 2 as well. A Euro 3 petrol car is lawful here on every day of the season.

Diesel standard

Diesel cars are banned up to and including Euro 4 — "veicoli diesel EURO 0, EURO 1, EURO 2, EURO 3 ed EURO 4". A Euro 5 diesel is lawful in Bagnara di Romagna on every day of the season. 🚨 That is worth stating plainly, because the order's own preamble spends several recitals on a Euro 5 diesel ban and then does not adopt it.

The preamble recites Legge n. 105 of 18 July 2025 on a structural diesel Euro 5 limitation "a decorrere dal 1° ottobre 2026", said to apply in priority to municipalities over 100 000 inhabitants; regional law L.R. n.

9 of 28/07/2026 article 15 comma 1, which sets the same limitation for centri abitati of comuni above 100 000; and DGR n. 1505 of 07/09/2026, which identifies compensating measures so that those comuni may be spared it. Bagnara di Romagna has 2 320 residents and adopts none of it.

The recitals are before ORDINA; the operative part after ORDINA bans diesel to Euro 4 and no further (D-334).

Penalty if you do not comply

🚨 THE ORDER PRINTS NO AMOUNT FOR DRIVING INTO THE ZONE, AND NO NUMBER HAS BEEN BORROWED FROM A NEIGHBOUR. The sanctions article says only that breaching the circulation provisions is punished "con sanzione amministrativa pecuniaria prevista ai sensi dell'art. 7, comma 13 bis del vigente Codice della Strada", applied under articles 194 and following, payable within 60 days.

The order does not state a figure and does not state a range. ⚠️ The fine itself is not in doubt — the Highway Code sets one — so a driver should treat it as existing and unread here rather than absent. ⚠️ Sibling records elsewhere in this family DO print a range, because their own orders print one: Castenaso, Vignola, Bagnolo in Piano and Baricella all run from 168 euro to a top of 678 or 679.

Copying that band here would be fabrication. 🔑 THIS IS NOW THE FOURTH ORDER MEASURED TO PRINT NOTHING AT ALL, AND ALL FOUR BELONG TO THE SAME UNION — Alfonsine, Bagnacavallo, Lugo and Bagnara di Romagna, every one of them a member of the Unione dei Comuni della Bassa Romagna, confirmed for each by the is_in check returning area/3608848371 at level 7. 🚫 THAT IS A CORRELATION AND THIS RECORD DOES NOT TURN IT INTO A RULE.

D-359 measured the opposite shape four days earlier at Ozzano dell'Emilia, where a shared union failed to predict the fine, and the next Bassa Romagna comune read must be read in full rather than assumed silent. The two money figures this order DOES print are for other offences entirely — 300 to 3 000 euro for unlawful burning of vegetation under D.L.

69/2023, and 50 to 500 euro for a shop leaving its door open under L.R.

16/2017 article 42 comma 2 — and neither is the fine for driving in. ⚠️ A DANGLING CROSS-REFERENCE IS PRESERVED RATHER THAN CORRECTED, AND IT IS NOW THE FOURTH SIGHTING: the sanctions article attaches that 50-to-500 shop-door fine to "il precedente punto 4.3", and this order has no point 4.3 — point 4 is a single paragraph about when heating may be switched on, and the shop-door duty is at point 5.2.

Baricella (D-343), Alfonsine and Bagnacavallo carry the same error at the same numbers. Four towns copying one regional template is what this looks like, and the publisher's text is kept as written.

How to comply
  • Check the date first. The scheme is dormant from 1 April to 30 September and bites from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 18:30.
  • 🔑 Saturday and Sunday carry no ban at all, and this order names no ecological Sunday. If you have read that comuni in Emilia-Romagna close their centres on named Sundays, that is Formigine's, Castenaso's, Maranello's, Piacenza's, Carpi's, San Lazzaro's and Ozzano's rule — it is not this one. The only place the phrase appears in this document is a recital describing what the regional Move-In rules do "in occasione delle domeniche ecologiche, ove adottate con specifica ordinanza", and Bagnara di Romagna adopted none.
  • Work out your Euro class against a single list, which is all this order has. Banned: petrol, LPG/petrol and methane/petrol up to Euro 2; diesel up to Euro 4; mopeds and motorcycles up to Euro 2. There is no stricter list on any day.
  • 🚨 Know where the edge is, because this order draws a ring rather than listing roads. The zone is the area enclosed by via G. Matteotti and viale G. Garibaldi — the two streets that circle the historic centre. Those two streets are inside the zone; the parking bays on them are not. Everything within the ring is in, including side streets the order never names.
  • ⚠️ Do not carry Bagnacavallo's answer here. That town, in the same union and drafted the same week, names thirty-two individual roads and restricts those carriageways only, so an unnamed side street inside a block is outside its zone. At Bagnara the reverse is true. The two orders look alike and their geometry is opposite.
  • The map is worth opening but it will not tell you much on its own. Allegato n. 1, which this record links, is a cadastral sheet with a single closed red line drawn on it around the centre. It carries no legend, no key, no scale and no north arrow, so the red line is only meaningful alongside point 7 of the order.
  • 🚨 If you have signed up to Move-In, you may drive. Point 8 lists vehicles enrolled in Move-In among those excluded from the ban, on the terms of regional resolution DGR 1493 of 22/09/2025 and Bagnara di Romagna's own earlier order n. 14/25 of 25/09/2025. ⚠️ DO NOT CARRY THAT ANSWER TO THE NEXT TOWN. Bagnolo in Piano's order mentions Move-In in its preamble and never once after the operative verb, which means a Move-In Euro 4 diesel is lawful here and unlawful there (D-342).
  • An electric or hybrid car is excluded outright, and so is car-pooling: three or more people on board in a car homologated for four or more seats, or two or more in a car homologated for two or three.
  • Taxis, hire cars with driver, line buses and school buses are excluded, as are emergency and breakdown vehicles, security-firm vehicles and vehicles of court officers on duty.
  • A disabled person's vehicle displaying the parking badge under D.P.R. 151/2012 is excluded.
  • Vehicles carrying someone to indispensable and non-deferrable treatment, or to a booked appointment, are excluded on production of the medical certificate and the booking; so are paramedics and home-care staff on duty, and doctors and vets on an urgent home visit carrying their professional badge.
  • Vehicles taking children to and from nursery, infant, primary or lower-secondary school are excluded for 30 minutes either side of the school's start and finish times, with an attendance certificate or a self-declaration stating those times.
  • 🔑 There is a low-income exemption, and it is worth knowing about: a vehicle belonging to someone whose ISEE is below 19 000 euro, who owns no vehicle that is already exempt, one vehicle per household, registered and insured, with a self-declaration.
  • Guests at a hotel inside the restricted area may drive to and from it, with a booking, or by sending the local police a receipt showing their name and registration within ten days — provided the hotel is inside this comune.
  • Blood donors on the day of donation, hearses and the cortege, vehicles going to a booked roadworthiness test, historic vehicles on one of the named registers during organised events, driving-school cars during lessons, and traders going to and from an authorised market or fair are all excluded.
  • Goods vehicles over 3.5 tonnes (N2 and N3) are excluded only for the trip between the operator's premises and roads outside the ban, and back.
  • 🔑 Six days are free, and one of them is local. The ban is suspended on Monday 30 November 2026 — the patron saint's day, which the order marks "(patrono)" — and on 8 December, 25 December 2026, 1 January, 6 January and 29 March 2027, plus any day a local public-transport strike is called. ⚠️ Conselice, in the same union, also suspends its own patron's day — but on 11 November, and its list does not include 30 November, so its ban still bites that day. The practice is shared; the date is not.
  • Carry the paperwork and show it. The order requires badges to be displayed visibly and certificates produced on request, and says a badge misused is a badge withdrawn.
  • 🚨 The order prints no fine for driving in. It cites article 7 comma 13 bis of the Highway Code and leaves the amount to that article. Do not assume the figure a neighbouring town prints applies here — this record does not, and neither should you.
