Driving in Ozzano dell'Emilia: Low emission zone

Ozzano dell'Emilia, Italy · Low emission zone

Partly in force in Ozzano dell'Emilia right nowTuesday, 13 October 2026 at 11:05 · Europe/Rome

  • In force Monday to Friday, 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027: petrol, LPG/petrol and methane/petrol up to Euro 2; diesel up to Euro 4; mopeds and motorcycles up to Euro 2
  • Not in force The twenty-four ecological Sundays the order prints as dates, 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027: everything banned on a weekday, plus diesel Euro 5. ✅ This is a quoted calendar, not a reading. Point 3 lists the dates themselves; all twenty-four were checked against the calendar on 2026-10-01 and all are Sundays.

Lifts Tuesday, 13 October 2026 at 18:30 local time.

🔑 THE SUNDAY RULE IS STRICTER THAN THE WEEKDAY RULE. Diesel Euro 5 is banned on the twenty-four ecological Sundays and in emergencies, and allowed Monday to Friday. Nothing else in the vehicle lists changes between the two. San Lazzaro di Savena is the only other order in this family measured to do this, so it is a second instance and not yet a pattern.

✅ THE SUNDAY CALENDAR IS QUOTED, NOT DERIVED. Point 3 prints twenty-four dates. Recomputed on 2026-10-01: all twenty-four are Sundays, none repeats, and the two Sundays of the season they omit are 1 November 2026 and 28 March 2027 — both named among point 2's suspended days as well.

⚠️ THE ORDER DECLINES THE DECEMBER SUSPENSION THE PAIR OFFERS IT. Its recital of PAIR 2030 art. 12 comma 2 records the ecological Sundays as "4 domeniche al mese, con possibilità di sospensione dal 1° dicembre al 6 gennaio e nei giorni di festività". This order takes the festivity half and not the December half: 6, 13, 20 and 27 December 2026 and 3 January 2027 are all on its list. Nothing is missing here — the option simply was not taken.

⚠️ ONE OF THE EIGHT SUSPENDED DAYS IS INERT AND NOTHING ELSEWHERE RESCUES IT. Point 2 suspends "il divieto alla circolazione di cui al presente punto 1", which runs Monday to Friday, and lists Saturday 26 December 2026 among the days. There is no Saturday rule for it to suspend and no Saturday list for it to be absent from, so it does nothing — the shape Carpi showed on the same date, 26 December 2026. The other two weekend entries, Sunday 1 November 2026 and Sunday 28 March 2027, are not wasted: each is also missing from the Sunday list, which is where their work is done.

⚠️ THE ORDER WRITES THE WEEKDAY NAME FOR ONLY TWO OF ITS EIGHT SUSPENDED DAYS, and both are correct: "domenica 28 Marzo 2027 (Pasqua)" and "lunedì 29 Marzo 2027 (Lunedì di Pasquetta)". The remaining six are bare dates whose weekday this record recomputed. The family now has three behaviours — Carpi names none, San Lazzaro names all six, Ozzano names two of eight — so there is no convention to inherit.

⚠️ THE BAN IS ALSO SUSPENDED ON DAYS OF PUBLIC-TRANSPORT STRIKES, which cannot be put in a timetable. On a strike day the ban is off.

⚠️ THE EMERGENCY MEASURES ARE NOT IN THE TIMETABLE AND CANNOT BE. Arpae issues its bulletin on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; this order keys its emergency measures to the "ambito territoriale della Provincia di Bologna", the measures start the day AFTER the bulletin and run to the next control day inclusive, 08:00 to 19:00.

🚨 THE DOCUMENT'S TEXT CANNOT BE WATCHED AT ALL, AND THE RECORD WATCHES ITS BYTES INSTEAD. Every font in the ordinance is Type0/Identity-H with /ToUnicode null, so the file renders perfectly and extracts to nothing: 34,482 strings were dropped on that ground and six separate needles missed on both readers. The facts in this record were read from rendered page images. A change to the rule would reach us as a change in the file's digest, or as a new ordinance number on Arpae's register — both of which are watched.

⚠️ MOVE-IN EXEMPTS THE WEEKDAY BAN ONLY, in the order's own words. It does not help on an ecological Sunday or under emergency measures.

✅ THE ANNEX THE ORDER PROMISES IS ATTACHED — UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME. Point 10(c) sends a reader to "punto A, allegato n. 3 alla Relazione generale del PAIR 2030 – ALLEGATO D della presente Ordinanza", and the substance really is in the file: pages 18 to 20 reproduce that annex, pages 325 to 327 of the PAIR general report, with its points A and B. ⚠️ But no page carries the words "Allegato D"; the pages are headed with the PAIR's own "ALLEGATO 3". The order's own annexes are therefore lettered A (the plan) and D (this), with no B or C mentioned anywhere, and the document gives no reason for the jump. 🔑 This is worth stating because San Lazzaro di Savena's order, read the day before, names the same PAIR annex and does NOT attach it — so a missing annex is a fact about that order, not a habit of the template.

⚠️ ARPAE PUBLISHES THIS ORDER ON ITS REGISTER "PER COMUNI SOPRA I 30.000 ABITANTI" AND THE COMUNE HAS 14,448 RESIDENTS. The order states the headcount itself — "la popolazione residente nel Comune di Ozzano dell'Emilia alla data del 31/08/2026 è pari a n° 14448 abitanti" — and the register's title is therefore not a claim about every comune on it. The order's own recital of PAIR 2030 art. 12 comma 2 gives the real test: the limits apply to "i Comuni aventi popolazione superiore a 30.000 abitanti, i Comuni dell'Agglomerato di Bologna e i Comuni volontari". Ozzano qualifies through the Agglomerato di Bologna.

⚠️ THE ORDER CITES A COUNCIL RESOLUTION DATED 29/10/1198. "Deliberazione di Consiglio Comunale n° 111 del 29/10/1198" is plainly a typo for 1998, but the correct year is not sourceable from this document and the date is reproduced as published rather than repaired (V-049). Two smaller slips are left standing on the same ground: "Comune di Ozzano dell'Emila" in the Verificato section and "fissandola dalle 8.00 elle 19.00" in the recital of DGR 1505/2026.

Operating times only, read from the source below. It does not check your vehicle.

What applies

Ozzano dell'Emilia, a comune of the Città Metropolitana di Bologna, closes its built-up area to older vehicles for the 2026-2027 winter under Ordinanza del Sindaco n. 138 of 29 September 2026, signed for the Mayor by the Deputy Mayor, Mariangela Corrado, and published by Arpae Emilia-Romagna.

There is no charge and no permit to buy: a vehicle is either allowed in or it is not. 🔑 THE SUNDAY RULE IS STRICTER THAN THE WEEKDAY RULE, AND THIS IS THE SECOND ORDER IN THE FAMILY MEASURED TO RUN THAT WAY. Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:30, the ban reaches diesel up to Euro 4.

On the order's twenty-four named ecological Sundays, in the same window, it reaches diesel up to Euro 5 — one generation further. The petrol, LPG/petrol, methane/petrol, moped and motorcycle lists are identical in both: Euro 0 to Euro 2. A diesel Euro 5 may therefore drive through the zone on a Tuesday and may not on the Sunday after it.

San Lazzaro di Savena, read immediately before this record, is the other. 🚫 Two orders is an observation, not a property of the family. 🔑 AND THE SUNDAYS ARE PRINTED AS DATES, NOT AS A FORMULA.

Point 3 lists twenty-four of them, 04/10/2026 through 21/03/2027. Recomputing the calendar rather than trusting the count: all twenty-four are genuinely Sundays, none repeats, the season contains twenty-six, and the two that are absent are 1 November 2026 and 28 March 2027 — both of which point 2 separately names among the suspended days.

Two independent mechanisms agree on both dates. ⚠️ The order also declines an option the PAIR gives it: the recital notes that the Sunday scheme may be suspended between 1 December and 6 January, and this order suspends none of those five Sundays.

The zone is one connected area — the centro abitato of Ozzano dell'Emilia, including the Zona Studentato lobe that joins it along via Nardi Ettore — drawn on an annexed plan the order makes part of itself. Five named road itineraries are carved out of the ban so that the park-and-ride car parks stay reachable.

Emergency measures, when Arpae's bulletin calls for them, widen the window to 08:00–19:00 and add diesel Euro 5 to the weekday list. ⚠️ Move-In does not help on a Sunday. Point 10(d) exempts vehicles enrolled in the regional Move-In telematics scheme "Solo relativamente alle limitazioni strutturali di cui al punto 1" — the Monday-to-Friday ban only.

On an ecological Sunday and under emergency measures the enrolment buys nothing. 🚨 NOTHING IN THIS DOCUMENT CAN BE WATCHED BY ITS TEXT, AND THAT IS A PROPERTY OF THE FILE RATHER THAN OF THE PUBLISHER. Every font in the ordinance is a Type0 subset in Identity-H encoding with no /ToUnicode map, so the character codes in the file are glyph numbers and no conformant reader can turn them back into words.

The pages render as crisp vector text and extract as nothing: 34,482 strings are dropped on that ground, and the needles "Ozzano", "ORDINANZA", "EURO 5" and "678" all miss on both readers this project has. The record therefore watches the file's bytes instead of its sentences, and the facts below were read from rendered images of the pages.

The fine for breaching the circulation limits is an administrative penalty of €168.00 to €678.00, with the licence suspended for fifteen to thirty days on a repeat within two years.

Comune di Ozzano dell'Emilia (BO) — Ordinanza del Sindaco n. 138 del 29/09/2026, "Provvedimenti finalizzati alla tutela e al risanamento della qualità dell'aria dal 01 ottobre 2026 fino al 31 marzo 2027 nell'ambito del PAIR 2030", signed digitally for the Mayor by the Deputy Mayor, Mariangela Corrado, and published by Arpae Emilia-Romagna. This is the operative instrument: twenty pages, of which fourteen are the order, one is the annexed plan it makes part of itself, two are Arpae's regional information sheets and three are an excerpt of Allegato 3 to the PAIR 2030 general report

Daily charge

There is no charge. This is a prohibition, not a toll: a vehicle below the threshold may not enter the built-up area during the restricted hours, and no payment, day pass or permit is offered that would let it.

The only thing resembling a bought exemption is the regional Move-In telematics scheme, which meters annual mileage rather than selling entries, and which this order admits against the Monday-to-Friday ban only. The figure a driver will meet instead of a charge is the fine: €168.00 to €678.00.

When it operates

Season: 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027. Outside those dates nothing in this record applies. • Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:30 (point 1): petrol, LPG/petrol and methane/petrol Euro 0 to Euro 2; diesel Euro 0 to Euro 4; mopeds and motorcycles Euro 0 to Euro 2. • Twenty-four named ecological Sundays, 08:30–18:30 (point 3): the same lists, except that diesel runs Euro 0 to Euro 5.

The dates the order prints are 4, 11, 18 and 25 October 2026; 8, 15, 22 and 29 November; 6, 13, 20 and 27 December; 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 January 2027; 7, 14, 21 and 28 February; and 7, 14 and 21 March. • Emergency measures, 08:00–19:00 (point 8.1): the Sunday vehicle list, on whatever day the measures are running. 🔑 THE SUNDAY LIST WAS CHECKED AGAINST THE CALENDAR RATHER THAN COUNTED FROM THE PAGE.

All twenty-four printed dates are genuinely Sundays and none is repeated. The season holds twenty-six Sundays; the two missing are 1 November 2026 and 28 March 2027, and point 2 names both among the suspended festivity days. The order excludes each of them twice and contradicts itself nowhere. ⚠️ THE ORDER DECLINES A SUSPENSION THE PAIR OFFERS IT.

Its own recital of art. 12, comma 2 of the PAIR 2030 technical norms records that the ecological Sundays run "4 domeniche al mese, con possibilità di sospensione dal 1° dicembre al 6 gennaio e nei giorni di festività".

Ozzano uses the festivity half and not the December half: 6, 13, 20 and 27 December 2026 and 3 January 2027 are all on the list. ⚠️ WEEKDAY SUSPENSIONS (point 2): Tuesday 8 December 2026, Friday 25 December 2026, Friday 1 January 2027, Wednesday 6 January 2027 and Monday 29 March 2027.

Recomputed on 2026-10-01, every one of those weekday names is correct. ⚠️ The order itself writes the weekday name for only two of its eight suspended days — "domenica 28 Marzo 2027 (Pasqua)" and "lunedì 29 Marzo 2027 (Lunedì di Pasquetta)" — and both are right. That is worth recording because the family has now produced all three behaviours: Carpi names none, San Lazzaro names all six, Ozzano names two of eight.

There is no family convention to rely on. ⚠️ Point 2 also suspends the ban on days of public-transport strikes. Those are not known in advance and are not in the timetable; a strike day is a day the ban is lifted.

Comune di Ozzano dell'Emilia (BO) — Ordinanza del Sindaco n. 138/2026, points 1, 2, 3 and 8 for the three clocks, the twenty-four printed Sunday dates and the eight suspended days, with the recital of PAIR 2030 art. 12 comma 2 for the December suspension the order declines

Area covered

One connected built-up area: "l'area del centro abitato di Ozzano dell'Emilia, come da planimetria allegata", named in the same words in points 1, 3 and 8.1, and identified by point 9 as "la planimetria costituente l'allegato n. A del presente provvedimento". 🔑 THE ZONE IS ONE PIECE, AND THAT WAS CHECKED ON THE DRAWING RATHER THAN ASSUMED FROM THE SINGULAR NOUN.

Rendered at 200 dpi and opened, the filled area runs from the via Emilia in the south-west up through the centre and out to the Zona Studentato lobe in the north-east, which joins the main body along via Nardi Ettore and via Sant'Andrea rather than standing apart. 🚫 That makes it a third structure under the Città Metropolitana di Bologna, not a repeat of either neighbour: Castenaso and San Lazzaro di Savena each split into capoluogo plus one named frazione with open ground between, and both of those comuni have no union above them, while Ozzano is one piece and does belong to a union. ✅ AND THE LEGEND NAMES THE AREA, WHICH IS THE THING THE TWO ORDERS BEFORE THIS ONE GOT WRONG IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS.

The plan's legend has five entries and the FIRST is a filled pink swatch labelled "AREA DEL CENTRO ABITATO SOGGETTA ALLE LIMITAZIONI" — the surface the drawing fills, explained by the legend that fills it.

The other four are "PUNTO DI INIZIO DELLA LIMITAZIONE ALLA CIRCOLAZIONE" (a red ring), "PARCHEGGI SCAMBIATORI" (green), "STRADE SOGGETTE ALLA LIBERA CIRCOLAZIONE" (a blue line) and "PERCORSI CONSENTITI PER IL SOLO ACCESSO AL PARCHEGGIO" (a dotted blue line). ⚠️ Carpi's legend named two different boundaries while its text named the larger and the smaller was the zone — a contradiction.

San Lazzaro's legend named only lines and points while its plans filled a polygon nothing explained — a gap. Ozzano has neither. 🚫 Three orders, three different answers: the defect in each of the first two is a fact about that order and not a property of the family.

Five itineraries are excluded from the ban by point 9, and as at San Lazzaro — and unlike Carpi, whose nine perimeter roads existed only on the drawing — all five are named in the ordinance text: via Emilia (S.S.9) southbound carriageway to reach via Olmatello and the car park opposite nos.

3-5 (the "Antica Locanda"); via San Cristoforo from the junction with via San Lazzaro as far as the "parcheggio Cimitero" at the junction with v.le Due Giugno; via Sant'Andrea from the crossing with via del Pino as far as the "parcheggio Coop" at the junction with via Nardi; via Nardi from the junction with via dei Billi, northbound carriageway, as far as the "parcheggio Coop"; and via Emilia (S.S.9) northbound carriageway to reach the via Marconi Municipio car park. 🚫 No boundary coordinates are published.

The shape is a drawing, and the drawing is a photograph of a drawing.

Comune di Ozzano dell'Emilia (BO) — Ordinanza del Sindaco n. 138/2026, points 1, 3, 8.1 and 9 for the area and the five open itineraries, with Allegato A, page 15 of the same file, which the order makes part of itself

Why there is no map here
The plan was rendered and opened before this was written, as D-339 requires — page 15 at 60 dpi, at 200 dpi over the town, and at 300 dpi over the legend. It is a picture, not geometry: no coordinate list, no GeoJSON, no shapefile, no WMS. 🔑 AND IT IS A PICTURE IN THE STRICTEST SENSE AVAILABLE. Page 15 holds exactly one image object and zero text: a single 1191 × 842 DeviceCMYK raster at 8 bits per channel, with no vector drawing operations beside it. Where San Lazzaro's two annexes differed from each other — one raster of forty sliced JPEG bands, one vector with live text — Ozzano's single annex is one flat scan. Every street name on it, and every word of its legend, is pixels. What the drawing does give a reader, once opened, is the shape of the thing: a filled pink polygon covering the centro abitato, with the park-and-ride corridors drawn through it as dotted blue lines, green blocks at the interchange car parks, red rings where the restriction begins on each approach road, and solid blue for the roads left open. ✅ The zone is ONE connected piece — checked at 200 dpi rather than inferred from the order's singular "area" — with the Zona Studentato lobe in the north-east joined to the main body along via Nardi Ettore and via Sant'Andrea. ✅ THE LEGEND IS COMPLETE, WHICH IS THE POINT WORTH RECORDING. It carries five entries and the first is a filled pink swatch reading "AREA DEL CENTRO ABITATO SOGGETTA ALLE LIMITAZIONI", so the surface that matters most on the drawing is the surface the legend explains. Carpi's legend contradicted its text about which boundary was the zone; San Lazzaro's omitted the fill entirely and point 10 had to supply the missing sentence. Neither happens here, and three orders with three different answers is the evidence that neither earlier defect was a family trait. 🚫 No boundary is therefore derived, traced or estimated. The five open itineraries in the record's area field are the order's own text, which is where this comune's roads are reliably named. ⚠️ THE ITINERARY COUNT WAS RECOUNTED ACROSS A PAGE BREAK, AND THE FIRST COUNT WAS WRONG. The list is introduced at the foot of page 11 and all five bullets sit on page 12, with point 10 beginning immediately below the last of them. A first reading of page 12 alone put the figure at six; re-rendering the page 11/12 boundary at 230 dpi showed the introduction carries no bullet of its own. The figure here is the recounted one.

The authority's own map: Comune di Ozzano dell'Emilia (BO), Allegato A to Ordinanza del Sindaco n…

Petrol standard

Euro 2 and older are banned, and this is the one list that does not change between the weekday rule and the Sunday rule. Point 1 and point 3 both name "veicoli alimentati a benzina EURO 0, EURO 1 ed EURO 2, non conformi alla direttiva 98/69/A CE e successive o alla direttiva 99/96/A CE e successive", and bilingual-fuel vehicles — LPG/petrol and methane/petrol — are listed on the same terms.

Mopeds and motorcycles are also banned at Euro 0 to Euro 2, under directives 2013/60/CE and 2003/77/CE respectively. Euro 3 petrol and newer may circulate throughout, including under the emergency measures.

Diesel standard

🚨 THE DIESEL CUT-OFF MOVES WITH THE DAY OF THE WEEK, AND IT IS THE ONLY VEHICLE CLASS IN THIS ORDER THAT DOES. • Monday to Friday (point 1): banned at Euro 0 to Euro 4 — "veicoli diesel EURO 0, EURO 1, EURO 2, EURO 3 ed EURO 4 non conformi alla direttiva 2005/55/CE B2 e successive o alla direttiva 99/96 fase III oppure Riga B2 o C e successive".

Euro 5 may drive. • On the twenty-four ecological Sundays (point 3) and under emergency measures (point 8.1): banned at Euro 0 to Euro 5, by reference to "regolamento 715/2007*692/2008 (Euro 6 A o Euro 6 B)". Euro 5 may not drive. ⚠️ The order's preamble explains why the weekday line sits where it does and not one generation higher, in the same chain of instruments San Lazzaro cites.

Legge n. 105 of 18 July 2025 requires a structural Euro 5 diesel limit from 1 October 2026 but "in via prioritaria per i Comuni aventi popolazione maggiore di 100.000 abitanti"; L.R. Emilia-Romagna n.

9 of 28 July 2026, art. 15 comma 1, repeats that 100,000 threshold and fixes the same 08:30–18:30 Monday-to-Friday window for it; and DGR n. 1505 of 7 September 2026 sets compensating measures for those comuni instead.

Ozzano dell'Emilia, with 14,448 residents, is not one of them, so its weekday structural ban stops at Euro 4 — and the comune applies Euro 5 on Sundays and in emergencies on its own account.

Penalty if you do not comply
€168.00 An administrative fine of €168.00 to €678.00 for breaching the circulation limits, under art. 7, comma 13-bis of the Codice della Strada, "salvo adeguamenti" under art. 195, and on a repeat within two years the licence is suspended for fifteen to thirty days. €168 is the floor recorded in the amount field; a reader should expect the figure actually demanded to be set between the two. 🔑 €678, NOT €679. Read from the rendered image of page 13, the ceiling cannot be measured as a string in this file and was not guessed from the neighbours. The family is split on this one euro: thirteen orders print €679 and four — Formigine, Soliera, Carpi and now Ozzano dell'Emilia — print €678. 🚫 No winner is declared from that count and no mechanism is proposed for the split (D-261). Ozzano does not help the obvious theory either: it belongs to the Unione dei comuni Savena-Idice, a union none of the other three €678 orders shares. The order carries four other penalty bands that are not traffic fines and are recorded here only so that the €168–678 figure is not read as covering them: €300 to €3,000 for burning vegetable residues (points 4.3 and 4.4); €50 to €500 for a shop leaving its door open while heating or cooling (point 7.2); and €25 to €500 for anything else the ordinance requires, under art. 7-bis of D.Lgs. 267/2000, with the offender required to stop the activity at once. Payment falls due within sixty days, and the last three bands rise by 20 per cent if paid late. ⚠️ Enforcement is not only the police: the order charges the Polizia Stradale, the Polizia Giudiziaria, the Guardie Ecologiche Volontarie (GEV) and the Guardie Ecologiche Volontarie di Legambiente (GEL) with carrying it out.Source: Comune di Ozzano dell'Emilia, read 2026-10-01

Comune di Ozzano dell'Emilia (BO) — Ordinanza del Sindaco n. 138/2026, the sanctions part following point 11, letters a) to d), and the enforcement paragraph before "DISPONE INFINE"

How to comply
  • Check the date first. The scheme is dormant from 1 April to 30 September and bites from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027.
  • Then check the day, because the diesel line moves. Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:30, diesel is banned up to Euro 4. On one of the twenty-four ecological Sundays, same window, it is banned up to Euro 5. Petrol, LPG/petrol, methane/petrol, mopeds and motorcycles are banned up to Euro 2 on both. Saturday carries no ban unless the emergency measures are running.
  • If you drive a diesel Euro 5, the Sundays are the whole question. The order prints them as dates: 4, 11, 18 and 25 October 2026; 8, 15, 22 and 29 November; 6, 13, 20 and 27 December; 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 January 2027; 7, 14, 21 and 28 February; 7, 14 and 21 March. The only two Sundays of the season not on that list are 1 November 2026 and Easter Sunday, 28 March 2027.
  • Do not count on Move-In to get you through a Sunday. Point 10(d) exempts enrolled vehicles from the Monday-to-Friday ban only, in terms — "Solo relativamente alle limitazioni strutturali di cui al punto 1".
  • Check Arpae's emergency bulletin, issued on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, at https://www.arpae.it/it/temi-ambientali/aria/liberiamo-laria/bollettino-misure-emergenziali — when it calls for measures in the Provincia di Bologna they begin the NEXT day, run 08:00–19:00 and add diesel Euro 5, through to the following control day inclusive.
  • The zone is the built-up area of Ozzano dell'Emilia, in one piece, and it reaches further north-east than the town centre: the Zona Studentato is inside it, joined to the rest along via Nardi Ettore.
  • If your vehicle is banned, the park-and-ride routes stay open — via Emilia (S.S.9) in both carriageways for the Antica Locanda and Municipio car parks, via San Cristoforo for the Cimitero car park, and via Sant'Andrea and via Nardi for the Coop car park — and they are open for reaching and leaving those car parks, which is what both the text and the plan say.
  • Exemptions that need no application: electric and hybrid cars; car-pooling with at least three people aboard in a four-seater or more, or two in a two- or three-seater; special-purpose and specific-transport vehicles; emergency, rescue and public-transport vehicles; vehicles carrying a disabled person's badge; journeys to urgent or scheduled medical treatment and blood donation with the certificate to hand; home-care staff and doctors or vets on an urgent house call; perishable goods, medicines and medical gases; registered historic vehicles during organised events; vehicles booked in for a roadworthiness test; market and fair traders reaching their pitch; guests of hotels inside the zone, arriving and leaving, with a booking or a stamped attestation to the municipal police within ten days; and N2/N3 lorries over 3.5 tonnes between the operator's depot and the roads outside the ban.
  • A breach costs between €168 and €678, and a second breach within two years also costs fifteen to thirty days of your licence.
